2009 Jensen Symposium on Nuclear Receptors

The 2009 inaugural Cincinnati Cancer Symposium will focus on nuclear receptors and coregulators, and will honor the contributions of Dr. Elwood Jensen, Chair in Cancer Research at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Vontz Center for Molecular Studies and winner of the 2004 Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research for his work pioneering work on the function of estrogen receptor-α (ERα).
Invited speakers include Myles Brown, Bill Chin, Pierre Chambon, John Cidlowski, Ron Evans, Geoffrey Greene, Jan-Ake Gustafsson, Gordon Hager, V. Craig Jordan, Benita Katzenellenbogen, Mitch Lazar, David Mangelsdorf, Donald McDonnell, Bert O'Malley, Bob Roeder, Bruce Spiegelman and Keith Yamamoto.
Signals will cover the Jensen meeting and NURSA will be the first website to report on a national nuclear receptor meeting in the United States. NURSA's editor, Neil McKenna, will summarize each day's talks and post these on Signals the following day.
